Arken EP-5 Gen II 7-35x56 FFP VPR MIL

The Arken EP-5 Gen II 7-35x56 FFP is built for shooters who need high magnification, a precise reticle and repeatable adjustments at extended distances. With a wide 7-35x magnification range and 56 mm objective lens, it is designed around long-range precision and detailed target observation.

At the heart of the EP-5 Gen II is Arken's Japanese J-XED glass system. The extremely low-dispersion optical glass is designed to reduce chromatic aberration while maintaining resolution, contrast and target definition throughout the magnification range — particularly important when working at higher magnification.

This version is equipped with Arken's VPR MIL reticle in the First Focal Plane. Because the reticle scales with magnification, its MIL subtensions remain accurate throughout the complete 7-35x range. The VPR provides a clean precision reticle with approximately 12 MIL of usable holdover, allowing shooters to make elevation and wind corrections directly through the reticle.

The exposed tactical turrets use 0.1 MRAD adjustments with 10 MRAD per revolution. Arken's AZS Zero Stop provides a positive mechanical reference point, allowing the elevation turret to be returned quickly and consistently to the established zero after dialing for longer distances.

Side parallax adjustment from 25 yards to infinity allows the scope to be focused across a wide range of shooting distances, while the 34 mm main tube provides the internal adjustment range expected from a dedicated long-range optic.

With a weight of approximately 1.19 kg / 42 oz, the EP-5 Gen II is built around optical performance, adjustment capability and long-range precision rather than minimum carry weight. It is therefore particularly well suited to precision rifles, range use and long-range shooting setups where stability and repeatability take priority.

The VPR reticle uses MIL-based subtensions and the turrets adjust in MRAD, allowing elevation and wind corrections to be read and dialled within the same measurement system without converting between MIL and MOA.

The First Focal Plane design means the reticle subtensions remain accurate throughout the complete magnification range.

The scope requires 34 mm rings or a compatible 34 mm scope mount.

Reticle illumination requires one CR2032 battery. Battery is not included.
