Sauer 404/505 Adapter for Spartan Valhalla

Our Sauer 404/505 Valhalla adapter gives your bipod a dedicated spigot connection at the front of the rifle. It uses the existing sling attachment point, so you can add your preferred shooting support without drilling or changing the stock.

The adapter is retained by a spring-loaded tensioning screw and ball bearings, and its integrated sling attachment keeps your sling in use. Weighing 53 g, it keeps the additional mounting hardware compact.

The spigot uses the original Valhalla-style interface. Please read the Gen 2 compatibility notes in More info if you are using the newer bipod.

Valhalla compatibility

This adapter uses a Gen 1-style spigot for the original Valhalla bipod. It can also be used with the Valhalla Gen 2, but the spigot extends slightly beyond the bipod body and does not engage the Gen 2 spring detent. Secure the bipod using its cant locking wheel. Spartan recommends matching the adapter generation to the bipod where possible.

Installation

A 2.5 mm hex key is required and is not included.

Before fitting, loosen the tensioning screw until the retaining ball bearings no longer protrude from the mounting shaft. Insert the adapter fully into the rifle's existing front sling attachment point, then tighten the screw clockwise until the adapter is securely seated.
