Sauer 404/505 adapter for Spartan Javelin

The Salamander Tactical Sauer 404/505 Adapter provides a dedicated mounting interface for Spartan Javelin bipods on Sauer 404 and Sauer 505 rifles.

The adapter fits directly into the rifle’s existing front sling attachment point and is secured using an internal spring-loaded tensioning system. No permanent modification to the rifle is required.

Installation is straightforward and requires a 2.5 mm hex key.

Before installation, back out the tensioning screw until the silver retaining ball bearings no longer protrude from the main body of the adapter.

Insert the adapter fully into the existing sling attachment point in the Sauer forend.

Tighten the tensioning screw clockwise until secure. If the screw has been fully backed out before installation, approximately 2–2.5 turns are normally required. The tensioning screw is spring-loaded to help keep the adapter firmly seated in the rifle stock.
